sorry, this is important, so I'm not using a lj-cut, please forgive me!

This is Pete. He is a 5 month old Pit Bull puppy with a problem.

Pete has a genetic heart defect called pulmonic stenosis. Without open-heart-surgery, Pete will only live to be about 1 1/2 years old.

The surgery is gonna be around $3000. So, I just thought I'd post this and maybe start a collection for him if anyone was interested. A few dollars will add up and some word of mouth and a link to this entry will give more and more hope for him.

He is such a sweet boy, I spent all day with him. So, if you can please tell your friend's and maybe we can get him closer to his surgery.

I just got the call from Wal-Mart. My glasses are ready to be picked up. Gah, I'm nervous, and I don't even know why. >_>;;;;;;

I also need to go pick up mah check from work. I am thinking about ordering a second pair of glasses as back ups. We'll see. As of right now, I am poor... I guess it will depend on how much my check is.

I just wanted to say... I went to Wal-Mart on Saturday and (as I already knew) I need glasses. So, after an hour and more than $200 gone, I have glasses on the way, they should be here on the 22nd.

Gah, today I went into work at 4am again. The store got in around 10,000 units (the usual is around 4,000). I swear, there was no room in that store after we unloaded the truck. We took over 100 boxes to "on-site". Goh, I am so sore. Moving tons and tons of boxes all morning sucks.

NEED SOME YAOI HELP XD

Ahem. Now that I have your attention. I need some help.

I'm working on something of a documentary for a film class on animated and comicked gay erotica (yes, yaoi) and it's appeal to the fans.

What I need from YOU and anyone else you know who would be willing to help, is a couple of things:

#1)Sound clips (or if you've got a webcam and wanna record video of yourself speaking that works too) of you saying a bit about yaoi. Tell me what appeals, what you like about it.

Remember that letter that sparked such controversy a few weeks ago? Some guy wrote a letter to a magazine claiming that Queer as Folk wasn't popular because women didn't LIKE guy on guy action. That women's sexuality doesn't WORK that way. Give me your response to that.

Let me here your voice. Record the statement: "My name is ____ and I like yaoi" (or "I like gay porn" or "I LOVE yaoi" or "I live, eat, breath yaoi" whatever holds true for you, whatever floats your boat). You don't have to give me your real name either.

I know this is a big favor, but if any of you who have the capability to record sound or image could spare me just a couple of minutes, I would be a happy happy camper.

#2) Any good still photos of y-con (and other cons') activities, such as the Bishie Auction, random copslayers, random congoers, scary fangirls, etc. I have some, but would love to get more.

For the brave, not afraid to stand up and say "I like yaoi", I would love any photos of yourselves, clutching plushies, doujinshi, boyfriend/girlfriends, whatever. ^_^

#3) Your well wishes and pats on the back. I'm gonna need it. ^^

My computer has me signed out of everything and I can't keep them signed in for more than a few seconds, its happened to me with... LJ, DevART, Online Banking, and BleachWorld. WTF?

::cries:: okay okay, I'm just gonna go read some BLEACH. >_

Is anyone else having trouble logging into LJ for more than a few seconds? Grr, I hate this. It won't let me log into DevART either. I hope it's not my computer.

This morning I was awaken by my mom telling me I have to be at work by noon. wtf. it's my day off, but apperently, my manager called and my mom told her I would come in today (without asking me first). I was so pissed. I worked until 9pm, and I got to stay in the stock room the whole time so it wasn't completly awful.

On my last break, me and Star went to "Harry and Davids" and I bought a mint chocolate cheesecake, yum... it's good too.
